Streamstown is a small community called a hamlet in the middle of Alberta, Canada. It is part of the County of Vermilion River. You can find Streamstown about 11 kilometers (7 miles) west of Highway 17. It is also about 19 kilometers (12 miles) northwest of the city of Lloydminster.

In 2015, the County of Vermilion River counted the people living in Streamstown. The census showed that 20 people lived there at that time.

Community Hall and Sports

The hamlet has a hall where people can gather for different community events. There is also a baseball diamond, which is a great spot for playing baseball.

The Miniature Hamlet Model

There used to be a special small park in Streamstown. This park had a tiny model of what the hamlet looked like in 1945. A local resident named Greg Davies (who lived from 1939 to 2015) built this amazing miniature model. It was on display in the town from 2010 until 2016.

Streamstown Cemetery and a Famous Veteran

Just outside Streamstown, you can find the Streamstown Cemetery. This cemetery is the resting place of George Frederick Ives (1881–1993). He was a very important person because he was the last surviving veteran from the Second Boer War. This was a war that took place a long time ago.
