Allium lineare is a type of wild onion plant found across Eurasia. Its natural home stretches all the way from France in the west to Mongolia in the east. This plant is known for its straight, narrow leaves.

What Does Allium lineare Look Like?

Allium lineare grows from one or two bulbs. Each bulb can be up to 15 centimeters (about 6 inches) wide.

Stems and Leaves

The plant has a tall stem called a scape. This scape can grow up to 60 centimeters (about 2 feet) high. Its leaves are flat and shorter than the stem. They are also very narrow, usually less than 5 millimeters (about 0.2 inches) across.
