Sunrise Beach is a small village in the state of Missouri, in the United States. It is located in both Camden and Morgan counties. In 2020, about 431 people lived there. This number was the same as in 2010.

History of Sunrise Beach
Sunrise Beach got its name because it is located near the beautiful Lake of the Ozarks. A post office opened in the area in 1932. This was also the year the village officially became a town.
Geography of Sunrise Beach
Sunrise Beach is mostly in northern Camden County. A small part of the village reaches into Morgan County. A main road, Missouri Route 5, also called Sunset Boulevard, goes through the village. This road connects Sunrise Beach to other nearby towns. For example, it leads to Laurie and Versailles to the northwest. It also goes south to Camdenton.
The village covers an area of about 5.82 square miles (15.07 square kilometers). Most of this area is land. Only a very small part, about 0.01 square miles (0.02 square kilometers), is water. Sunrise Beach sits on a piece of land surrounded by the Lake of the Ozarks. The village limits reach the lake's edge in several spots.
People of Sunrise Beach
In 2010, there were 431 people living in Sunrise Beach. These people lived in 207 households. About 122 of these households were families. The village had many homes, with 418 housing units available.
Most of the people living in Sunrise Beach were White. A small number of residents were Native American or African American. Some people were also from other backgrounds. About 3% of the population identified as Hispanic or Latino.
The average age of people in the village was about 49 years old. About 17% of residents were under 18 years old. Around 28% were 65 years old or older. The village had slightly more females than males.
Education in Sunrise Beach
Students in Sunrise Beach attend schools run by the Camdenton R-III School District. One of these schools is Hurricane Deck Elementary School, which is located right in Sunrise Beach. There is also a private school in the village called Lake Christian Academy.
