Super Mario Kart is a fun racing video game made by Nintendo for the Super NES game console. It was released in 1992 and is special because it's the very first game in the popular Mario Kart series. In this game, players race against each other using characters from the famous Mario series.
Players can choose from eight different characters, each with their own kart. The goal is to race around colorful tracks, collect power-ups, and try to finish first! It was one of the first games to feature a split-screen mode, letting two players race at the same time on one TV.
