Super Paper Mario is an exciting Wii game that came out in 2007. It is the third game in the popular Paper Mario series. This game was first planned for the Nintendo GameCube, but it ended up being released for the Wii console instead. It mixes fun platforming action with role-playing elements, making it a unique adventure!

Playing the Game

In Super Paper Mario, you get to control Mario and his friends. Your main goal is to explore different areas in a place called Flipside. As you play, you'll fight various enemies and solve interesting puzzles. Winning battles helps your characters gain levels and become stronger.

Switching Dimensions

A cool feature in Super Paper Mario is Mario's special ability. He can switch between a 2D (flat) view and a 3D (three-dimensional) view of the world. This helps him find hidden paths and secrets that are not visible in just one view.

Playable Characters

As you move through the story, more characters join your team. Besides Mario, you will also be able to play as Princess Peach, Luigi, and even Bowser! Each character has their own special abilities that help you on your adventure.

The Story So Far

The main goal of Super Paper Mario is to collect eight special items called Pure Hearts. These hearts are needed to stop a dangerous black hole from growing. If the black hole gets too big, it will destroy the entire world! So, Mario and his friends must work together to save everything.

Meet Your Companions: Pixls!

In every Paper Mario game, Mario has helpful friends who join him. In Super Paper Mario, these friends are called Pixls. The name "Pixl" sounds like "pixel" (the tiny dots that make up images on a screen). It also sounds like "pixie," which is another name for a fairy.

What Pixls Do

Each Pixl has a unique power and a different look. Even though you'll meet many Pixls during the game, you can only use one at a time. They are very important for helping Mario solve puzzles and defeat enemies.

Tippi, Your First Pixl

Your first Pixl friend is named Tippi. She looks like a butterfly and is a very helpful partner. Tippi can give Mario useful tips about the game. She can also make invisible objects appear, which is super handy for finding hidden items or paths. As you play, you will find and recruit more Pixls to help you on your journey.
