Swiss is a town located in Burnett County, which is in the state of Wisconsin in the United States. In 2010, about 790 people lived there. A small community called Danbury is also part of the town of Swiss.

Geography of Swiss

Swiss is in the northern part of Burnett County. It sits along the St. Croix River. This river forms the border between Wisconsin and Minnesota. The Yellow River also flows into the town from the south. It drops about 60 feet in just over a mile before joining the St. Croix River near Danbury.

The United States Census Bureau says that the town of Swiss covers a total area of about 157.3 square kilometers (about 60.7 square miles). Most of this area, about 148.8 square kilometers (57.5 square miles), is land. The rest, about 8.5 square kilometers (3.3 square miles), is water.
