Tabiona is a small town in Duchesne County, Utah, United States. It is located southwest of Tabby Mountain, right by the Duchesne River. Tabiona is about 86 miles (138 km) southeast of the big city area of Salt Lake City. In 2020, about 143 people lived here.

History of Tabiona
Tabiona gets its name from Chief Tabby of the Shoshone-Timpanogos Nation. His full name was Chief Tabby-To-Kwanah.
Education in Tabiona
Because Tabiona is a small town, all students from kindergarten to 12th grade go to school in the same building. Younger students have their classes in a separate part of the school.
Tabiona High School Sports
Tabiona High School competes in sports as a 1A school. Their mascot is the Tiger, and the school colors are purple and white.
The school is well-known for its basketball teams. Both the boys' and girls' teams have won many regional and state championships under coach Lee Gines.
- The girls' basketball team won the 1A state title in 2007.
- The boys' basketball team won 1A state titles in 1997 and 1999.
Tabiona High also has teams for girls' volleyball and baseball. The school does not have enough students to create teams for other popular sports like football or soccer.
Religion in Tabiona
The main religion in Tabiona is the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. On July 24, 1910, a local church group called the Tabbyville LDS Branch was started. About a year later, this group changed its name to Tabiona and became a larger church unit called a ward. The local church building is very close to the high school.
