Tahsan Rahman Khan, born on 18 October 1979, is a famous Bangladeshi artist. He is well-known as a singer, musician, actor, and TV host. He started his music journey with the rock band Black. Later, he became the lead singer of his own band, called Tahsan and the Band.

Tahsan grew up in Dhaka, Bangladesh. He began his music career with the band Black. After some time, he decided to start a solo music career. His first solo album, Kothopokothon, came out in 2004. That same year, he also started acting in TV dramas. His first drama was "Offbeat". Since then, he has acted in over 100 TV shows and movies. In 2021, Tahsan became a Goodwill Ambassador for UNHCR, which helps refugees. He also started hosting the TV show Family Feud Bangladesh in 2024.

Early Life and Schooling

Tahsan learned to sing at places like Shishu Academy and Chhayanaut. He went to A. G. Church School, St. Joseph Higher Secondary School, and Notre Dame College, Dhaka. For his higher education, he studied at the Institute of Business Administration, University of Dhaka. There, he earned degrees in business, a BBA in marketing and an MBA in finance. He also got another MBA from the University of Minnesota in the USA, thanks to a special scholarship called Fulbright.

Besides his music and acting, Tahsan also worked as a university teacher. He taught at BRAC University and ULAB.

Personal Life

Tahsan met Rafiath Rashid Mithila in 2004 when they were both students at the University of Dhaka. They got married in 2006. In 2017, they announced their divorce. Their daughter, Ayra Tehrim Khan, was four years old at that time. Tahsan's father passed away in April 2023.

On January 4, 2025, Tahsan married Roza Ahmed, who is a makeup artist living in America.
