Tanit Phoenix (born 24 September 1980) is a talented South African fashion model, actress, and makeup artist. She became well-known for her modeling work, especially after appearing in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue in 2003 and GQ magazine.

Tanit Phoenix was born in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. Her family has roots in both Dutch and Irish cultures. From a young age, Tanit loved to dance. She started ballet lessons when she was just 5 years old and continued dancing for 15 years.
Modeling Career
Tanit began her modeling journey in Durban, South Africa, at the age of 14. A modeling scout discovered her in her hometown of Westville. Since then, she has appeared in many international TV commercials. Some of the big brands she worked with include Adidas, Coca-Cola, Nivea, and Citroën.
She has also graced the covers of several magazines around the world. These include South African Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire, and GQ. She has also been featured often in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. In May 2014, she appeared on the cover of Maxim South Africa.
Acting Career
Tanit Phoenix started acting in 2005. One of her first roles was a small part in the movie Lord of War. She also appeared in the South African-Canadian TV series Charlie Jade.

In 2010, Tanit starred in the horror film Lost Boys: The Thirst. She also appeared in the comedy movie Spud, where she acted alongside the famous John Cleese.

Tanit Phoenix has been in a relationship with actor Sharlto Copley since January 2012. They got married in Cape Town, South Africa, on 15 February 2016. On 1 January 2017, they announced the birth of their first child. The family now splits their time between Cape Town and Los Angeles. Tanit is also a vegan.
