Tara Claire Palmer-Tomkinson (born December 23, 1971 – died February 8, 2017) was an English celebrity. People also knew her as T P-T. She was famous for appearing on TV shows. One popular show was I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!. She passed away in 2017.

Early Life and Family
Tara Palmer-Tomkinson was born in Basingstoke, Hampshire, England. Her birthday was December 23, 1971. Her parents were Patricia and Charles Palmer-Tomkinson. Her father was a skier who represented Great Britain in the 1964 Winter Olympics.
Tara had an older sister named Santa Montefiore. Santa is a well-known author. Tara's mother had family roots in Argentina. Tara went to school at Sherborne School for Girls in Dorset. After school, she worked for a short time at Rothschilds bank in London.
Writing and Books
In the 1990s, Tara had a weekly column in The Sunday Times newspaper. Another writer, Wendy Holden, helped write these columns. Wendy would write based on Tara's stories about her week.
Tara also wrote for other magazines and newspapers. These included The Spectator, The Mail on Sunday, and GQ.
In 2007, Tara published a book called The Naughty Girl's Guide to Life. She wrote this book with Sharon Marshall. Her first novel, Inheritance, came out in 2010. This book also had help from another writer.

On February 8, 2017, Tara Palmer-Tomkinson was found at her home in London. She had passed away. Her death was not considered suspicious. Her sister later explained the cause of death. It was due to a perforated ulcer and peritonitis.
