Tasha the Amazon, whose real name is Tasha Schumann, is a talented Canadian artist. She is a rapper, singer, songwriter, and music producer. You might also know her as a host on the Animalogic YouTube channel. Tasha is famous for her first music collection, an EP called Die Every Day. This EP was even nominated for a Juno Award in 2017.

About Tasha the Amazon
Tasha Schumann was born in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. Her parents are from Germany and Jamaica. She grew up in Kitchener. Tasha's uncle is Erroll Starr, a well-known rhythm and blues singer from the 1980s. He also won a Juno Award.
After finishing high school, Tasha moved to Toronto. She studied psychology at the University of Toronto. While she was there, she started her music career.
Tasha's Music Journey
Tasha the Amazon began releasing her own songs in 2013. She put out several singles between 2013 and 2015. She also released a mixtape called FIDIYOOTDEM.
Die Every Day Album
In 2016, Tasha released her first album, Die Every Day. This album was a big success. In 2017, it was nominated for a Juno Award. This award was for Rap Album of the Year.
Later in 2017, Tasha won another important award. She won the MuchMusic Video Award for Best Hip Hop Video. This was for her song "Picasso Leaning". She was the first female artist to ever win this award.
