Tatiana Alexeyevna Golikova, born on February 9, 1966, is a Russian politician and economist. She currently serves as the Deputy Prime Minister of Russia. Her work focuses on important areas like social policy, labor, health care, and pensions. She has held this role since 2018.
Before becoming Deputy Prime Minister, she was the Minister of Health and Social Development from 2007 to 2012. She also led the Accounts Chamber of Russia from 2013 to 2018.

Early Life and Education
Tatiana Golikova was born in Mytishchi, Russia, on February 9, 1966. She went to the Plekhanov Institute of the National Economy. In 1987, she graduated with a degree in labour economics. This field studies how people work and earn money.
Career in Government
Tatiana Golikova began her career in the Finance Ministry in 1990. She started as an economist in the State Budget Department. Over the years, she took on more important roles.
From 1992 to 1995, she was the Chief Economist. Then, she became the Deputy Head of the State Budget Department. In 1998, she briefly led the State Budget Department. Later, she became the Head of the Budget Policy Department.
She continued to rise in the Finance Ministry. From 1999 to 2007, she served as Deputy Finance Minister. She even held the title of First Deputy Finance Minister from 2002 to 2004.
Minister of Health
In September 2007, Tatiana Golikova was asked by Vladimir Putin to become the Minister of Health and Social Development. In this role, she was in charge of Russia's health care and social programs. She also helped lead the Federal Antinarcotics Service. She left this position in 2012.
Deputy Prime Minister
On May 18, 2018, Golikova was appointed as a Deputy Prime Minister. She worked in Dmitry Medvedev's Second Cabinet. In January 2020, she kept her position in Mikhail Mishustin's Cabinet. Later that month, she was put in charge of a special center. This center worked to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus in Russia.
Personal Life
Tatiana Golikova is married to Viktor Khristenko. He used to be the Minister of Industry and Trade. They got married in 2003. She is sometimes called "Miss Budget" because of her work with government finances.
