Tell-Tale Productions facts for kids
Tell-Tale Productions was a company that made animated and live-action TV shows and live stage performances. It was started in 1994 by two creative people, Will Brenton and Iain Lauchlan.
At first, Tell-Tale Productions focused on exciting live shows. Later, they became well-known for producing popular TV series that many children enjoyed.
Over the years, the company changed hands a few times. In 2004, a company called Entertainment Rights bought Tell-Tale. This company later became part of Classic Media. Then, in 2012, DreamWorks Animation bought Classic Media. By 2016, most of the old shows made by Tell-Tale Productions (except for Tweenies) became owned by NBCUniversal through Universal Pictures.
After leaving Tell-Tale Productions, Will Brenton and Iain Lauchlan started a new company called Wish Films in 2006. They continued to create fun shows like Jim Jam and Sunny and a TV version of Wibbly Pig.
