The Crystal Rain Forest is a fun and educational puzzle game. It was made by Sherston Software to help kids learn in primary schools. The game first came out in 1992 for a computer called the Acorn Archimedes. Later, in 1999, it was also released for Microsoft Windows and Mac OS computers. It even came out with another game called Mission Control V2.
Saving the Planet Oglo
This game takes you to a cool place called the planet Oglo. There's a kingdom named Azon, and it has the very last rainforest left. But a group called the "Cut and Run Gang" is trying to chop it all down!
The king of Azon told them to stop, but then he was hit by a poison dart. Now, two heroes must go on an adventure. They need to find special magical rainforest crystals. These crystals are the only way to save the king and stop the gang from destroying the planet's trees.
How to Play the Game
In The Crystal Rain Forest, you play the game from a first-person view. This means you see the world through the eyes of your character. You'll need to use different controls and machines to explore the thick rainforests.
The game has nine activities that teach you things. They are all narrated, so you'll hear voices guiding you. You'll work with machines, solve puzzles, and even learn about computer programs. You'll also use control mechanisms to get through different challenges.
