The show follows two teenage siblings, Steve (Paul Smith) and Tamara (Nadine Garner). They are forced to leave their city home. This happens after their mother, Alice (Diane Craig), is tragically killed in an accident.
Steve and Tamara move to the countryside to live with their uncle, Mike (Nicholas Eadie). Mike is a police officer in a made-up town called Haven Bay.
New Friends and Challenges
The Henderson kids start a new life in Haven Bay. They quickly make friends with a local group of kids. This group includes Ted Morgan (Ben Mendelsohn), Colin "Cowboy" Clarke (Mark Hennessy), Charlotte "Char" Kernow (Kylie Minogue), and Brian "Brains" Buchanan (Bradley Kilpatrick).
Steve and Tamara also have to protect their family's land, called Hendersons' Point. A tough businessman named Ashley Wheeler (Peter Whitford) wants to take their land. To make things more complicated, Steve falls in love with Wheeler's daughter, Sylvia (Annie Jones).
