Plot Summary: Little Bear's Adventure
The movie starts with Little Bear and Father Bear going on a camping trip. They set up their camp on a hill. Father Bear tells Little Bear about the wild wilderness and a time he met an eagle.
Meeting Cub and Trouble
The next day, Little Bear meets another young bear named Cub. They have fun wrestling around in a river. Cub then chases after a moose, leaving Little Bear alone. Suddenly, a scary mountain lion named Trouble appears! Cub quickly comes back and saves Little Bear from the mountain lion. After this exciting moment, they all enjoy a grilled fish breakfast with Father Bear. Then, they decide it's time to head home. Little Bear asks Cub if he wants to come along, and Cub agrees.
Life at Home and a New Quest
Back at Little Bear's house, Cub tries to get used to living indoors. The whole family then makes yummy flapjacks for lunch. Little Bear wants Cub to meet his friends: Cat, Owl, Duck, and Hen. They learn that Cub got separated from his parents during a big storm. So, they decide to go on a journey to find Cub's missing parents.
They make "missing person" posters for Cub's parents. Then, they head back into the wilderness to hang them up. While searching, they meet their friend Moose. He shows them that some raccoons have used one of their posters to build a dam. Little Bear and Cub try to get the poster back. But, some beavers, who are angry with the raccoons, break the dam. This causes a flood! Little Bear and Cub are washed away over a waterfall, getting separated from their friends. They find Duck, who also got washed downstream while looking for Cub's parents.
Lost and Found in the Wilderness
The three friends get lost in the dark wilderness. They can't find the rest of their group. Then, they run into Cub's best friends, Poppy and Pete. These two funny red foxes had been taking care of Cub after he lost his parents. They all spend the night safely in the foxes' den.
The next day, they keep looking and head towards a canyon. There, they meet Trouble, the mountain lion, again! He tries to catch Duck. But Poppy and Pete bravely save Duck's life. Little Bear manages to scare off the mountain lion with some help from Cub's parents, who finally appear! Cub and his parents are happily reunited. Little Bear is also found by his family and friends. After saying goodbye to Cub, Little Bear heads home. On the way back to the house, it starts to snow.
