The Secret Show is a British animated TV series. It was made by Collingwood O'Hare and first shown on September 16, 2006, in the UK on BBC Two. The show also aired in North America on Nicktoons Network starting January 20, 2007. It was also shown on channels like CBBC, BBC One, and Jetix Latin America. In total, 52 episodes were made.

About The Secret Show

This show follows two special secret agents, Anita Knight and Victor Volt. They work together to protect the world from all sorts of dangers. They are part of a secret group called U.Z.Z. Their boss is known by a different, funny codename every day for safety reasons.

U.Z.Z. also has Professor Professor. He's a super smart scientist whose inventions often save the day. There's also Special Agent Ray, who helps from behind the scenes, and many other agents.

Who are the Villains?

The main bad guys are T.H.E.M., which stands for "The Horrible Evil Menace." Their leader is Doctor Doctor. She always tries to take over the world but never succeeds. She has her own team of agents called "Expendables." They wear helmets that look like billiard balls.

Sometimes, Victor and Anita face other enemies. These include underground creatures called Imposters or Reptogators. There are also space aliens known as Floaty Heads. Even Changed Daily's old nanny had plans for world domination!

The Secret Thing

In many episodes, you'll see a mysterious orange cylinder called "The Secret Thing." Nobody knows what it actually is! In one episode, Doctor Doctor steals it, but it turns out to be a fake filled with confetti. Even when it's not part of the main story, the Secret Thing always pops up somewhere in the background. Each episode also has a robotic spider climbing a wall and a four-digit code. You can use this code on the show's website to find extra content.

The Fluffy Bunny Show

The show never starts as "The Secret Show." Instead, it begins as "The Fluffy Bunny Show." This part features Sweet Little Granny in a rocking chair with a banjo and six fluffy pink bunnies. As she starts to sing her intro song, U.Z.Z. agents, led by Agent Ray, take over the show. They always use a different, funny way to interrupt her. Then, "The Secret Show" begins, much to Sweet Little Granny's annoyance. The bunnies often appear in unexpected places throughout the show. In one episode, Sweet Old Grandpa fills in for Granny because she's having a hip replacement operation.

Meet the Characters

U.Z.Z. Agents

  • Victor Volt: He's one of the two main heroes. He wears a blue jumpsuit and rides a purple skybike. Victor is from America and was recruited by U.Z.Z. at a comic book convention. He can be easily distracted and sometimes acts childish, which can lead to trouble. However, he can also be very clever when needed. Victor is a vegetarian. Voice: Alan Marriott
  • Anita Knight: She's the other main hero. She has blonde hair, wears a purple jumpsuit, and rides a green skybike. Anita is usually smarter than Victor and often has to rescue them from tricky situations. She's allergic to sea water, but when she touches it, she grows a mermaid tail! Voice: Kate Harbour
  • Professor Professor: A brilliant scientist from Germany. He has a bald head with some green hair and wears red glasses. His inventions are often amazing, but sometimes they cause new problems. For example, a baldness cure once threatened to cover the Earth in hair and giant head lice! He always asks Victor, "Are you still alive?" after Victor crashes. Voice: Rob Rackstraw
  • Changed Daily: He's the leader of U.Z.Z. He has a British accent and a mustache. For security reasons, his name changes every day to something silly. He always travels with his fireplace by his side! He used to be a top agent like Victor. Voice: Keith Wickham
  • Special Agent Ray: He's the Unit Commander for U.Z.Z. and helps Victor and Anita in the field. He's calm under pressure and very loyal. Ray has Elvis-style hair and wears sunglasses. He's the one who clears out "The Fluffy Bunny Show" at the beginning of each episode. He's also a vegetarian (but eats fish). Voice: Martin Hyder
  • Agent Kowalski: Another female U.Z.Z. agent. She's American and new to U.Z.Z. Voice: Kate Harbour

Other Regulars

  • The World Leader: She's the elected leader of the whole world. Her speech sounds like gibberish, but her husband can understand her. The show's website hints she speaks an ancient Aztec language. Voice: Kate Harbour
  • The World Leader's Husband: He's short and wears armor. He has a quiet voice and is the only one who can understand his wife. Voice: Rob Rackstraw
  • Stacey Stern: A news reporter who often reports on U.Z.Z.'s missions. Her famous sign-off is "You may be you, but I'm Stacy Stern!" Voice: Kate Harbour
  • Sweet Little Granny: The host of "The Fluffy Bunny Show." She's married to Sweet Old Grandpa. Voice: Kate Harbour
  • Alphonse: An artist who also helps U.Z.Z. sometimes. He secretly likes Anita and often ignores Victor.
  • Kent B. Trusted: He's a secret double agent working for T.H.E.M., even though U.Z.Z. doesn't know it. His name is a funny play on words: "Can't Be Trusted."

Villains

  • Doctor Doctor: The main bad guy and leader of T.H.E.M. She wants to take over the world and causes many problems for U.Z.Z. She's known for her bad eyesight and vibrating teeth. Voice: Kate Harbour
    • T.H.E.M. (The Horrible Evil Menace): This group is led by Doctor Doctor. Their agents, called "Expendables," wear helmets like pool balls.
  • The Impostors: Dangerous villains who live deep underground. They can copy humans using "Hologrammatic Replication." They love the cold and are allergic to penguins. Inside their suits, they are small, one-eyed, maggot-like creatures. Their goal is to create a new ice age.
  • The Floaty Heads (also called Zurbulons): These are aliens from the planet Zabulon. Their helium-filled heads float above their bodies. Their leader is 12-year-old Prince Spong. They call humans "Sticky Heads."
  • The Reptogators: Scary, reptile-like creatures that live underground. They are usually not very smart, but they become intelligent by sucking out brainwaves from other creatures. They can run very fast and sometimes wear human disguises.
  • The Chef: A villain who once tried to bake Anita into a pie. His left arm is an egg beater he calls Mr. Wisk.

Other Characters

  • The Kid: A child genius who is the real leader of U.Z.Z. He appears in "Reptogator Attack."
  • The Secret Man: The top U.Z.Z. agent.
  • Professor Zoomottle: Professor Professor's and Doctor Doctor's old teacher from "The School for the Chronically Gifted."

Vehicles and Equipment

Skybike

The Skybike is the main flying vehicle for U.Z.Z. Agents. It looks like a jet ski with a rocket motor at the back. Skybikes can take off and land vertically, hover, and fly backward. They have retractable landing gear. Most U.Z.Z. skybikes are blue, but Anita's is green, and Victor's is purple.

Skybikes have many cool gadgets. These include a laser cannon, a retractable glass dome for space or underwater travel, and claw-grips for grabbing things. They even have an 'Anti-Meteorite Force Field Deflector' to protect against space rocks. Doctor Doctor once stole a skybike, and T.H.E.M. even made their own spider-shaped versions.
