Tjyllyungoo is the traditional name for the artist Lance Chadd, a talented painter from Western Australia. He is a member of the Noongar people, who are the Indigenous people of the south-west part of the state. A Talented Artist from Australia

Tjyllyungoo was born in 1954 and grew up in the town of Bunbury, which is part of the Noongar country. He started his career as a professional painter in 1981. Interestingly, he did not go to art school to learn how to paint.

His love for art was inspired by his family and other famous artists. His uncles, Alan Kelly and Reynold Hart, were also skilled landscape painters. As a young boy, he also saw the work of famous Australian artists like Hans Heysen and Albert Namatjira, which influenced his own style.

Tjyllyungoo's art has been shown in many galleries, including the Gomboc Gallery in Western Australia. His paintings are so well-loved that they are kept in collections all over the world. You can find his work at the Art Gallery of Western Australia and in the Berndt Collection.

Besides his paintings, Tjyllyungoo also designed a statue called "Wirin" which is located in Yagan Square in Perth.
