Club Career Highlights
Starting with Qviding FIF
Tobias Sana started his professional football journey in 2007. He played for Qviding FIF, a club in his hometown of Gothenburg. Before this, he played for youth teams like Marieholm BoIK and Västra Frölunda IF. He played 28 games for Qviding FIF over two years and scored two goals.
Joining IFK Göteborg
In 2009, Sana moved to IFK Göteborg, a team in the top Swedish league, Allsvenskan. He even went back to Qviding FIF for a short loan spell that year. By 2012, he was a regular player for IFK Göteborg. Many people thought he was one of the team's best players.
Moving to AFC Ajax
On August 1, 2012, Tobias Sana signed a three-year contract with the famous Dutch club, AFC Ajax. IFK Göteborg received €350,000 for his transfer. He quickly made an impact, scoring two goals in his first start for Ajax on August 19, 2012. He was even named "Man of the Match" in that game.
Playing for Malmö FF
