The Pirate Adventure
This fun movie starts on the big, wide ocean during a huge thunderstorm. A group of happy pirates are sailing their ship. Their leader, Red Pirate Ron, talks in a special language only his parrot, Stan, can understand. Stan warns the pirates to get ready for the storm!
The Treasure Map
Soon, Tom and Jerry find themselves on the same pirate ship. It turns out that Red Pirate Ron is looking for a secret treasure called the "Lost Treasure of the Spanish Mane." By chance, a big wave washes a treasure map right onto the ship! Tom quickly hides the map.
But then, a spooky ghost appears! It's the ghost of the Spanish Mane's captain, Don Diego de Clippershears. He warns Tom that if the map isn't put back into its bottle by sunset, a curse will begin. Oh no! The bottle gets swept away by another wave, leaving Tom stuck with the map and no way to avoid the curse.
Escaping Danger
Later, Tom and Jerry have to be super brave! They escape from a giant squid by using a cannon. But the adventure isn't over. Red Pirate Ron's brother, Blue Pirate Bob, attacks their ship. Bob also talks with his own parrot, Betty. Jerry cleverly tells them about the map to stop Spike from trying to eat him!
Bob's crew manages to steal the map, but Ron fights back and gets it back. He even shoots down his brother's ship! Ron's crew celebrates, and Tom gets some tasty seafood as a reward. Tom gives the map to Ron, who starts looking at it closely. Up in the ship's rafters, Jerry secretly copies the map onto his bandanna. Good thinking, Jerry!
The Curse Begins
As the sun goes down, the ghost of Don Diego appears again. The curse begins, and a crew of skeleton pirates rise from the sea! Ron's crew gets scared and jumps into a lifeboat. But guess what? Their lifeboat lands right on top of the giant squid that Tom and Jerry fought earlier!
Ron is mad at Tom for not warning him about the curse. He doesn't realize Tom can't talk! Ron expects Tom to row the boat all the way to the island where the treasure is buried. But Tom has other plans. He leaves Ron's men stranded and takes only himself and Jerry (who has the map on his forehead!) to the island.
Meeting Barnacle Paul
When Tom and Jerry arrive on the island, they meet Purple Pirate Paul. He's Ron and Bob's other brother. Funny enough, Paul can speak normal English, but his parrot, Chuck, can't! Paul calls himself "Barnacle Paul" because he doesn't want to be part of the "color scheme name thing" his brothers are doing.
Paul is also looking for the treasure, but he's feeling a bit sad because he's been searching for over 40 years! Tom and Jerry are about to continue their search when Ron shows up. Ron tells Paul that Tom has the map. Tom and Jerry quickly escape and find the entrance to Don Diego's tomb.
Finding the Treasure
A stone chicken guards the tomb, but Tom and Jerry are smart! They defeat it and find a stone egg. This egg is the key to opening the tomb's entrance. The lock looks like a frying pan, so the duo figure out the puzzle: they crack open the egg and place it on the stone pan.
Inside the tomb, they face many traps and tests, like crushing pillars and a memory game. Finally, they reach the cave where the treasure is hidden. But there's a guardian! Tom rushes inside and is shocked to see the same giant squid from before. When the squid sees Tom, it gets scared and a stalactite (a pointy rock hanging from the cave ceiling) falls and crushes it. Tom and Jerry grab the treasure!
New Captains
When Tom leaves the tomb, Ron, Paul, and Bob (who have sent their parrots away) start fighting over the treasure. Jerry sees his chance! He secretly sneaks the treasure away and puts it onto Bob's ship, which has been fixed. Tom follows Jerry by launching himself onto the ship.
On the pirate ship, Jerry, Tom, and Spike take charge! Jerry becomes the captain, Spike pilots the ship, and Tom has to swab the deck (with Spike making sure he works hard!). Stan, Betty, and Chuck (the parrots) join the trio. Tom, Jerry, and Spike's new pirate ship sails away, leaving Ron, Bob, Paul, and their crews stranded on the island. The last we see of them, they are running from the stone chicken, which has somehow put itself back together!
