Tomas Nils Haake (born on July 13, 1971) is a talented musician from Sweden. He is best known as the drummer for the extreme metal band Meshuggah. He also writes most of the lyrics for the band's songs.
Tomas Haake is famous for his unique drumming style, which often uses complex rhythms. These rhythms can sound like different patterns playing at the same time. In 2012, MetalSucks.net, a music website, named him the fifth best "Modern Metal" drummer. In July 2008, Modern Drummer magazine's readers voted him the number one drummer in the "Metal" category.
