Tomi Lahren (born August 11, 1992) is an American political commentator and television host. She is known for sharing her conservative views on TV and online.
Tomi Lahren hosted a show called Tomi on TheBlaze. She became well-known for her short video segments called "final thoughts." In these videos, she often shared her opinions on political topics. Many of her videos became very popular online.
After leaving TheBlaze, she started working with Great America Alliance, a group that supports Donald Trump. In 2017, she joined Fox News. There, she appears on different shows and hosts her own talk show called No Interruption on Fox Nation. In 2022, she also became the host of a new show called Tomi Lahren Is Fearless on OutKick.
Early life and education
Tomi Lahren grew up in Rapid City, South Dakota. She finished high school at Central High School in 2010. Her family background includes German and Norwegian heritage.
In 2014, Lahren graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in broadcast journalism and political science. While in college, she helped produce and hosted a political discussion show called The Scramble. She also worked as an intern for Republican Congresswoman Kristi Noem in South Dakota.
Career highlights
Tomi Lahren wanted to work in political commentary. She applied to One America News Network (OANN) and was offered the chance to host her own show. She moved to San Diego, California, and her show, On Point with Tomi Lahren, started in August 2014.
In July 2015, a video where she shared her thoughts on the 2015 Chattanooga shootings became very popular. Soon after, she left OANN and moved to Texas. In November 2015, she started a new show with TheBlaze. She became famous for ending her show with quick, three-minute segments called "final thoughts." In January 2016, Lahren supported Marco Rubio for president during the Republican Party primary election. In November 2016, she appeared on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah for an interview.
After some changes at TheBlaze, Tomi Lahren kept her Facebook page but removed videos she had made with the company.
In May 2017, Lahren started working in communications for Great America Alliance. This group supports Donald Trump. In August 2017, Lahren joined Fox News as a contributor, sharing her opinions on their programs.

She enjoys running and has a few tattoos. One tattoo on her neck shows a wheat leaf and South Dakota's state flower, the pulsatilla. She also has a tattoo of the Roman numeral 11 with a semicolon, because eleven is her lucky number.
