About Tony, Wisconsin
Tony is found at specific geographic coordinates: 45.481083 degrees North and 90.994763 degrees West. The village covers a total area of about 2.03 square miles (5.24 square kilometers), and all of this area is land.
When the village was first started, it was called Deer Tail. This name came from the Deer Tail Creek, which flows through the area. Tony is also located along U.S. Highway 8 and County Road I, making it easy to access.

- Jim Leonhard is a well-known person who grew up in Tony. He used to play professional football in the NFL and was a defensive back for the Wisconsin Badgers. Later, he became the head coach for the Wisconsin Badgers football team.
- John Q. Radcliffe also has ties to Tony. He attended high school in the village. John Q. Radcliffe later served as a Wisconsin State Representative, helping to make laws for the state of Wisconsin.
