Anthony Ricardo Paige, born on October 14, 1962, is a former American football player. He played as a running back for nine seasons in the National Football League (NFL). Tony played for three teams: the New York Jets, Detroit Lions, and Miami Dolphins. Before joining the NFL, he played college football for the Virginia Tech Hokies. The Jets picked him in the sixth round of the 1984 NFL draft. In his first year, he led the Jets with 10 touchdowns. He stopped playing football when he was 30 years old.

Early Football Days
Tony Paige started his football career at DeMatha Catholic High School in Maryland. He was so good that he was later added to the school's Hall of Fame. After high school, he went on to play for Virginia Tech.
At Virginia Tech, Tony was known as one of the best fullbacks. He was great at blocking for other players and catching passes. Because of his amazing skills, he was also inducted into the Virginia Tech Sports Hall of Fame.
Playing in the NFL
