Trois-Ponts (pronounced "Trwa-Pon") is a small town in Wallonia, which is the French-speaking part of Belgium. Its name means "Three Bridges" in both French and Walloon, the local language. It's located in the province of Liège.
As of January 1, 2006, Trois-Ponts had about 2,445 people living there. The total area of the town is around 68.90 square kilometers. This means there are about 35 people living in each square kilometer.
Trois-Ponts is special because it's where two rivers meet: the Amblève and the Salm. This meeting point is called a confluence.

Railway Connections
