Twila True is an American businesswoman and philanthropist.

She is the chief executive officer (CEO) and President of True Family Enterprises. She also started the True Children's Home orphanage and the True Sioux Hope Foundation. She helped create 1500 Sound Academy, a music school.

Twila True's Career

Twila True used to be the CEO of Synthane Taylor. This company made parts for circuit boards. She lived in Hong Kong and China with her husband, Alan. There, they ran True Innovations, a company that designed and made office furniture.

Later, a company called Li & Fung bought True Innovations. After returning to the United States in 2012, she and her husband started True Family Enterprises. In 2018, Twila True also made a deal with MonarchFx, a supply chain company.

Her jewelry designs were shown for the first time at New York Fashion Week in 2018. They were featured alongside the Zang Toi fashion collection.

Helping Others

Twila True is known for her work helping people. In 2006, while in China, she opened the True Children's Home. This home provided medical care for children who did not have parents.

In 2015, she helped start the True Sioux Hope Foundation. This is a non-profit group based in Newport Beach, California. It works to make life better for communities in the Pine Ridge area. In 2017, True also opened The Safe Home. This was an emergency shelter for children at the Pine Ridge reservation.

True has also started the Twelve Cycles program. This program helps girls from the Oglala Sioux tribe. It provides them with basic needs and education. She also supports other fundraising groups like Oceana and CASA.

1500 Sound Academy

In 2018, Twila True helped create 1500 Sound Academy. This is a music school in Inglewood, California. She started it with James Fauntleroy and Larrance "Rance" Dopson.

Many companies have partnered with the academy. In 2019, Roland worked with them. In 2021, the academy teamed up with Yellowbrick to offer online courses.

Also in 2021, Arizona State University joined with the academy. They started an online music program together. In 2021, Fender also partnered with 1500 Sound Academy. They offered scholarships to students. In 2022, the academy announced it would open a campus in Taipei, Taiwan.

Twila True's Family Life

Twila True is married to Alan True. They have four children together. In 2019, they sold their house on Harbor Island, Newport Beach.
