In March 2021, the academy partnered with Yellowbrick to offer online music programs. In June 2021, Arizona State University also joined forces with the academy. In November 2021, Fender, a famous guitar company, announced a partnership to provide scholarships for students.

In March 2022, the 1500 Sound Academy announced that it would open a new campus in Taipei, Taiwan.
