Where is Two Buttes?
Two Buttes is located in the northeastern part of Baca County. About 8 miles (13 km) northwest of the town, you'll find a hill also called Two Buttes. This hill overlooks the Two Buttes Reservoir. The reservoir is fed by Two Butte Creek, which eventually flows into the Arkansas River.
The town is situated on State Highway 116. If you drive northeast for about 23 miles (37 km), you'll reach Springfield. Springfield is the main town and county seat of Baca County. Driving east on Highway 116 for about 20 miles (32 km) will take you to the border of Kansas.
The United States Census Bureau says that the town covers an area of about 0.2 square miles (0.64 square kilometers). All of this area is land, with no water.
