Tyrone Lamar Washington (born September 16, 1976) is an American former professional basketball player. He played as a power forward. Tyrone played college basketball at Mississippi State University. After college, he was chosen by the Houston Rockets in the 1999 NBA draft. However, he spent his professional career playing for teams in other countries and in the NBA Development League (now called the G League).

Early Life and College Basketball Journey
Tyrone Washington was born in East St. Louis, Illinois. He grew up and went to Gentry High School in Indianola, Mississippi. He graduated in 1995.
High School Achievements
During his senior year, Tyrone was recognized for his basketball skills.
- Gatorade named him the Mississippi Boys' Basketball Player of the Year.
- He was also chosen as a fourth-team All-American by Parade magazine.
Playing for Mississippi State
Tyrone joined the Mississippi State Bulldogs men's basketball team in college.
