Ulrich Thomsen (born December 6, 1963) is an actor and filmmaker from Denmark. He is famous for playing Christian in the 1998 movie The Celebration. He also played Kai Proctor in the TV show Banshee from 2013 to 2016.

Ulrich Thomsen was born in Odense, Denmark. He finished his acting studies in 1993 at the Danish National School of Theatre and Contemporary Dance. After school, he acted in many plays in Copenhagen.
He speaks Danish, which is his first language. He also speaks German and English very well. Ulrich Thomsen is a vegan.
His Acting Career
Ulrich Thomsen started his film career in 1994. His first movie was Nightwatch. After that, he acted in many other films. These included The Biggest Heroes (1996) and Flickering Lights (2000).
A big moment in his career was the 1998 movie Festen. He then got an important role in the James Bond film The World Is Not Enough (1999). In this movie, he played a bad guy named Sasha Davidov. These roles helped him become known around the world.
In 2002, he acted in the English film Killing Me Softly. He also played the main villain, Jonas Skarssen, in The International in 2009. From 2013 to 2016, he was a regular actor in the TV series Banshee. He played the main bad guy, Kai Proctor, in that show.
