Urby Vitorrio Diego Emanuelson (born 16 June 1986) is a Dutch former professional footballer. He is currently an assistant coach for Jong Ajax.
Urby grew up playing football at the Ajax Youth Academy. He spent most of his career at Ajax as a left wing-back, which means he played on the left side, helping both in defense and attack. Later, his coaches used him more as a left midfielder or left winger. In these new roles, he became very good at running down the wing, setting up goals for teammates, and scoring himself. When he moved to AC Milan, his manager also played him as an attacking midfielder and even a right winger. This shows he was a very versatile player!
