Victor Grimmy Owusu was born in 1987 in Corona, Queens, New York. His mother was from New York City, and his father was from Ghana. When he was ten years old, V.I.C. wrote his very first song for his elementary school.

Later that same year, his family moved to College Park, Georgia. After finishing high school, he worked as a barber. At the same time, he was working hard to start his music career.

Music Career Highlights

V.I.C. released his first album, called Beast, in 2008. This album became quite popular, reaching number 73 on the Billboard 200 music chart. He also started working on a second album, Revenge of the Beast, but it was never finished.

In 2015, V.I.C. released a single called "Snapchat (Pose For The Camera)". He is most famous for his hit songs "Get Silly" and "Wobble".
