Vaibhav Talwar was born and grew up in New Delhi, India. He enjoys martial arts and has practiced taekwondo.

He married Scherezade Shroff in 2016. Scherezade is the sister of Indian fashion designer Anaita Shroff Adajania. Vaibhav and Scherezade met while working for the same modeling agency in Delhi. They started dating in November 2004.

Vaibhav Talwar started his modeling career with a job for Hugo Boss. After that, he worked with many famous fashion designers. Some of these designers include Tommy Hilfiger, J.J. Valaya, Raghuvendra Rathore, Aki Narula, and Manish Malhotra.

He also appeared in print advertisements for many well-known brands. These brands include HP, Asian Paints, LG, Grasim, ABN AMRO, Airtel, Nokia, and Manyavar.

Vaibhav also starred in television commercials. He appeared in ads for NDTV, Asian Paints, Dulux paints, Citibank, Cadbury, Royal Stag, Hindustan Petroleum (HPCL), GNIIT, Vivel Shampoo, Sony Ericsson, LG, Samsung Mobiles, Vimal suitings, Tata Nano, and Manyavar.

Vaibhav Talwar began his film career in 2010. His first movie was Teen Patti, which starred famous actors Amitabh Bachchan and Ben Kingsley. The film was directed by Leena Yadav.

In 2011, he acted in two more films. These were Mausam and Love Breakups Zindagi. In Love Breakups Zindagi, he acted alongside Dia Mirza. Earlier in his career, he played a main role in Jasoos Vijay, which was a BBC production.
