Valcolla is a special part, or "quarter," of the city of Lugano in Switzerland. It used to be its own separate town, called a "municipality." Valcolla is located in the Ticino region.

On April 14, 2013, Valcolla and several other nearby towns, like Bogno and Sonvico, joined together to become part of the larger city of Lugano. This change helped make Lugano bigger and stronger.
