Valley Head is a small community in Randolph County, West Virginia, USA. It is called a "census-designated place" (CDP) because the government counts its population separately. You can find Valley Head along U.S. Route 219. It is about 12 miles (19 km) southwest of Huttonsville.
Valley Head has its own post office with the ZIP code 26294. In 2010, 267 people lived there. The name "Valley Head" comes from its location near the start of the Tygart Valley River.
