Varzo (called Varsc in the local language) is a small town in Italy. It's located in the Piedmont region, which is in the northwest part of the country. Varzo is part of the Province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola.
This town is about 130 kilometers (80 miles) northeast of Turin and 35 kilometers (22 miles) northwest of Verbania. Varzo is also very close to the border with Switzerland. As of December 2004, about 2,209 people lived there, and the town covers an area of 94.4 square kilometers (36.4 square miles).
