Veinerville's Story: A Look Back
Veinerville got its name from Henry Viener. He was the Mayor of Medicine Hat.
In the 1960s, there was a plan to start a bus service to Veinerville. This service would have been run by the Medicine Hat Transportation Company. However, not many people in the community were interested in having a bus route. Later, a bus stop was added nearby. This stop was part of the "Flats route" and was about 200 meters downhill from the hamlet.
