Victoria Smurfit comes from a very well-known family in Ireland. Her family, the Smurfits, are quite wealthy. They own a big company called Smurfit Kappa. Victoria's uncle, Michael Smurfit, is a leader in the family business. The family also helps to pay for many sports events. These include the Smurfit European Open. They are also connected to the Smurfit Business School at University College Dublin. Victoria studied theatre in school. Their second daughter, Ridley Belle, was born in 2007. Their son, Flynn Alexander, was born in 2008. In 2012, Victoria and her family moved to Santa Monica, California, in the United States. In February 2015, Victoria and Douglas announced they were getting a divorce.
Victoria used to write a blog for The Dubliner magazine. She often shared stories from her own life there. She also supports a children's charity called World Vision Ireland. Victoria Smurfit married her partner, Steve Jacobs, at the end of 2023.
