Viktoria Petryk is a talented singer and songwriter from Ukraine. She was born on May 21, 1997. Viktoria is also known by her nickname, Vika. She started singing at a very young age, showing her musical talent early on.

Viktoria became well-known when she represented Ukraine in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2008. This big music competition for young singers was held in Limassol, Cyprus. Viktoria sang a song called "Matrosy," which means "Sailors." She did an amazing job and came in second place!

Her younger sister, Anastasiya Petryk, is also a singer. In 2012, Anastasiya won the Junior Eurovision Song Contest for Ukraine with her song "Nebo."

Viktoria's Singing Journey

Viktoria Petryk has been singing since she was just four years old. She has entered many singing competitions for children. She won many awards and special diplomas. Her very first award was a Second Rank Diploma. She received it at the International Venok Chornomorya Art Festival in Odesa.

Competing in Talent Shows

In 2010, when Viktoria was 13, she appeared on a TV show called Ukraine's Got Talent 2. She made it to the semi-finals of the show. She even sang with her younger sister, Anastasiya, who was eight years old at the time.

Later that year, Viktoria also won her age group (13–15 years) at the "New Wave Junior" international competition. This was a big achievement for her. Her sister, Anastasiya, also won in the younger age group (8-12 years) at the same competition.

Eurovision Dreams

Viktoria has tried to represent Ukraine in the main Eurovision Song Contest several times. In 2014, she was a finalist in the Ukrainian selection for the contest. She sang her song "Love Is Lord" and came in second place. Only Mariya Yaremchuk scored higher than her that year.

She also tried again in 2016 to represent Ukraine at Eurovision. She sang a song called "Overload." She reached the semi-final stage of the competition.

Other Music Festivals

In 2014, Viktoria also took part in the "New Wave" festival. This popular music competition is held in Latvia.

Personal Life

Viktoria Petryk got married in December 2016. She welcomed her son, David, in March 2017.
