Anastasiya started her music journey at a young age. In 2009, when she was just 7 years old, she appeared on Ukraine's Got Talent. She was there to support her older sister, Viktoria "Vika" Petryk. Vika had already represented Ukraine in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2008 and came in second place.

The judges on Ukraine's Got Talent were so impressed that they invited Anastasiya to sing with her sister. They performed the song "I Love Rock 'n' Roll" together. They both got to be part of the show and even reached the semi-finals!

That same year, Anastasiya won other awards. She took home the first prize at "Moloda Halychyna". She also earned the second prize at the "Black Sea Games 2009".

Winning Awards and Competitions

In 2010, Anastasiya continued to shine. She won first prize at the "New Wave Junior 2010" competition. This event was held in Artek, Ukraine. She won in the younger age group, which was for kids aged 8 to 12. Her sister Viktoria also won in the older age group, showing their family's musical talent.

In 2012, Anastasiya achieved her biggest win yet. She won the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2012 with her song "Nebo". She scored 138 points, which was a new record for the biggest winning margin. She was 35 points ahead of the second-place contestant! Also, 8 out of 12 voting countries gave her the top score of 12 points.
