Vincent Robert Cellini, born on June 10, 1959, is an American sports broadcaster. He works on both radio and television. You can currently see him on NBA TV and TNT Sports.

Vince's Early Life and Career

When he was younger, Vince Cellini worked as a lifeguard. He helped keep people safe at Grovewood, a city pool in Cleveland.

In 1981, Vince finished college at the College of Wooster in Ohio. He studied communications, which is about how people share information. He also played football for his college team as a tight end. He was very good! He set three records for his team. These records were for the most touchdowns in one season and in his whole college career. He also set a record for how many yards he gained per catch.

In 1982, Vince started his career in sports broadcasting. He became a sports anchor and reporter at a TV station called WJW-TV in Cleveland. He also had his own sports talk show on WWWE Radio.

Working at CNN and Turner Sports

In 1989, Vince Cellini left WJW-TV to join CNN Sports. In 1996, he won an award called the CableACE Award. He earned it for his work on a show called CNN Sports Tonight. He hosted this show with Van Earl Wright.

He also hosted a late-night show called "Calling All Sports" from 1994 to 1995. After that, he joined the TNT Sunday Night NFL broadcasting team.

Vince joined the Turner network again in January 2003. Before that, he worked for a long time at the CNNSI network, which no longer exists. During his time with Ted Turner's company, Vince also worked on CNN itself. He was working at the CNN Center in Atlanta, Georgia, when the events of September 11, 2001 attacks happened.

Time at The Golf Channel

Vince Cellini's first day at The Golf Channel was January 13, 2003. He took over as host of Golf Talk from Peter Kessler. The very first person Vince interviewed on that show was the famous golfer Arnold Palmer. Arnold Palmer helped start The Golf Channel in 1995.

Vince also anchored the network's main news show, Golf Central. He hosted "Top Shelf Wednesday," which was a two-and-a-half-hour block of shows. In February 2005, Vince and his colleague Stephanie Sparks started hosting The Big Break. This was a reality television competition show.

They hosted the third season, The Big Break III: Ladies Only. They also hosted The Big Break IV: USA vs. Europe in the fall of 2005. Vince and Stephanie returned to host The Big Break V: Hawaii on February 7, 2006. This was another "ladies only" season.

Vince left The Golf Channel in July 2007. He then rejoined the channel the following January. His contract ended in 2009 and was not renewed.

Vince Cellini is now a full-time host for NBA TV's GameTime. He also hosts many online shows for Turner Sports' digital platforms. He has been a sports broadcaster on cable TV for a long time.

He was a former anchor on Sports Tonight. He received a Cable ACE Award for his work in 1996.

Since August 18, 2011, Vince has hosted mini-shows for Nascar.com. These shows are called "Fantasy Showdown" and "The Preview Show."

Vince has covered the PGA Championship for TNT since 2011.

Other Work

Since 2010, Vince has been a co-host of the Hawks Live show with Mike Glenn. This show is half an hour long. It airs before and after NBA Atlanta Hawks games on SportSouth.

Starting in 2011, he also co-hosted a local golf show in the Cleveland area. This show was called "Par Three Shootout."

Personal Life

Vince Cellini is married and has three sons.
