Vinemont is located about 7 miles (11 km) north of the city of Cullman. In July 2017, about 948 people lived there. The community of Vinemont is right next to the town of South Vinemont, which has about 425 people. Even though they are separate, the elementary, middle, and high schools for Vinemont students are actually located in South Vinemont.
