Visviri is a small village, also called a hamlet, located in the northern part of Chile. It is the main town of the General Lagos area in the Parinacota Province, which is part of the Arica and Parinacota Region.
Visviri is special because it is the northernmost place in Chile where people live. It is also very close to the borders of three different countries: Bolivia, Peru, and Chile. To the east of Visviri, you can find the Bolivian town of Charaña. To the north, in Peru, is a place called Tripartito.
