The Story of the Film
Wallace, the clever inventor, has created a new robot. It's a robotic garden gnome called Norbot. Wallace starts a business where Norbot helps in gardens. This makes Gromit, Wallace's loyal dog, feel a bit left out. Gromit also worries that Wallace relies too much on machines. Norbot recharges loudly at night. So, Gromit moves its charging station to the basement.
A criminal penguin named Feathers McGraw sees Norbot on TV. He hacks into Wallace's computer. Feathers reprograms Norbot to work for him. He wants Norbot to make many more gnomes. Feathers plans to get revenge on Wallace and Gromit. The gnomes start stealing things from homes around the city.
Chief Inspector Albert Mackintosh and his new partner, PC Mukherjee, think Wallace is the thief. They take away most of Wallace's inventions. But they don't find the gnomes. Gromit gets Wallace's tracking device back from the police station. He tracks the gnomes to the local zoo. Feathers McGraw is locked up there. Gromit finds out the gnomes are building a submarine for Feathers. He plans to escape through the sewers.
Feathers spots Gromit hiding in a tree. He tells Norbot to cut Gromit down. Gromit and Norbot fall into an animal area. The fall resets Norbot back to his original, friendly setting. Gromit then goes to the museum. A famous Blue Diamond is being put back on display. But it turns out to be a fake! Feathers had hidden the real diamond in Wallace's house before he was arrested.
Gromit rushes home. But he and Wallace are captured by the gnomes. Feathers gets the diamond. He locks Wallace and Gromit in a wardrobe. Wallace and Gromit use a leaf blower to escape with Norbot. The three of them chase Feathers down a canal. They use narrowboats. Inspector Mackintosh and PC Mukherjee also chase them on a bicycle. Mackintosh doesn't know Feathers has escaped. Mukherjee still believes Wallace is innocent.
Wallace and Gromit figure out how to reprogram the gnomes. Gromit jumps onto Feathers' narrowboat. Feathers sees the police have blocked the canal. He steers his boat off a high navigable aqueduct. The boat hangs over the edge. Wallace convinces Gromit to give the diamond to Feathers. Feathers thinks he has won. He jumps off the boat. The boat falls, but Norbot and the other gnomes save Gromit.
Feathers escapes to Yorkshire on a train. But he finds out Gromit tricked him! Gromit had swapped the diamond with a fake. Mackintosh praises Mukherjee for trusting her feelings. He retires and lets her take over. Wallace goes back to inventing. He realizes that machines can't replace human help. Gromit gains new respect for Norbot.

How the Movie Was Made
Models from Vengeance Most Fowl on display
Making a Wallace & Gromit film takes a lot of work! The director, Nick Park, had some challenges with earlier movies. He found it easier to make shorter films. But this new movie started as a short idea. It then grew into a full-length film.
Aardman Animations uses a special modelling clay called Lewis Newplast. The factory that made this clay closed down. Aardman bought enough clay to finish Vengeance Most Fowl. They are now looking for a new supplier for future films.
The movie's title was announced on June 6, 2024. It was also revealed that Feathers McGraw would be the villain. He is a fan favorite from The Wrong Trousers.
The Music in the Film
The music for the film was created by Lorne Balfe and Julian Nott. Julian Nott has composed music for many Wallace & Gromit films. Lorne Balfe also helped with music for The Curse of the Were-Rabbit.
You'll hear some famous songs in the movie too. Gromit listens to "By the Sleepy Lagoon" by Eric Coates. Feathers McGraw plays "Born Free" by Matt Monro during his escape. Feathers also plays a piece by J.S. Bach on an organ in his submarine. This is a nod to the movie 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea.
