Walshville is a small village located in Montgomery County, Illinois, in the United States. In 2020, about 61 people lived there.
Where is Walshville?
Walshville is in the southwestern part of Montgomery County. It is about 12 miles (19 km) southwest of Hillsboro, which is the county seat. The village is also 10 miles (16 km) south of Litchfield and 6 miles (10 km) east of Mount Olive.
The U.S. Census Bureau says that Walshville covers a total area of 0.25 square miles (0.66 square kilometers). All of this area is land. Water from the village flows east into streams that lead to the Lake Fork of Shoal Creek. This creek is part of the larger Kaskaskia River system.
