How Weed Patch Hill Got Its Name

The name "Weed Patch Hill" has an interesting story. An early settler gave it this name a long time ago.

A powerful tornado once swept through the area. It knocked down many trees that were growing on the hill. After the trees were gone, lots of weeds started to grow in their place. Because of all these weeds, the settler decided to call it Weed Patch Hill.
