Modern Renovations and Big Shows
In 2008, the theater got a big makeover. A company called The Bowery Presents spent $3 million to update the building. They put in new electrical systems and plumbing. They also added new snack bars on different levels.
After this, in 2013, another company called Live Nation started managing the shows. The theater had another careful update. Since then, many famous musicians and groups have performed there. Some of these include Steely Dan, B.B. King, Cheap Trick, Fetty Wap, Ms. Lauryn Hill, and DNCE.
