West Lake Sammamish was a special area in King County, Washington, United States. It was called a "census-designated place" (CDP) because the government counted its population separately. In the year 2000, about 5,937 people lived there.
This area was later added to the nearby city of Bellevue in 2001. West Lake Sammamish was known for being a wealthy area. It ranked as one of the richest places in Washington state based on how much money people earned there.
