Wilkinson is a small town located in Hancock County, Indiana, in the United States. It is part of Brown Township. In 2020, about 414 people lived there.
Wilkinson is in the northeast part of Hancock County. It is located along Indiana State Road 109. This road goes north to Anderson and south to I-70 and Knightstown. The town is about 30 miles east of Indianapolis. It is also about 12 miles northeast of Greenfield.

History of Wilkinson
Wilkinson was officially planned and laid out in 1883. It was founded by Elnathan and Thomas B. Wilkinson. The town's post office opened in the same year, 1883.

Famous People from Wilkinson
Harvey Weir Cook was a famous pilot from World War I. He was born and grew up in Wilkinson. He was an "ace" pilot, meaning he shot down many enemy planes. The main terminal at Indianapolis International Airport is named in his honor.
