William George McMillan (born November 25, 1944 – died December 2, 2015) was an American actor, producer, and director. He was known for his roles in movies like The Crazies and Salvador, and many TV shows.

Early Life and Education
William George McMillan was born on November 25, 1944, in Steubenville, Ohio. His parents were William Claude and Nellie McMillan.
When he was in Weir High School, Will was a talented football player. He played both offense and defense for his school team. In 1960, his team won the State Championship!
After high school, he went to Washington & Jefferson College. There, he earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree. He then continued his studies at Boston University, where he received a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree.
Acting Career
In the 1970s, Will McMillan moved to California to start his acting career. He worked in movies, television, and even videos.
Film Roles
Will McMillan began his film career in 1972. His first role was as Lieutenant in a movie called White Rat.
In 1973, he played David in the film The Crazies. Later, in 1976, he was in The Enforcer. This movie was part of the popular Dirty Harry series.
He also appeared in Tin Man in 1983. In 1986, he worked with famous director Oliver Stone in the movie Salvador. In this film, he played Colonel Bentley Hyde Sr.
Television Appearances
Will McMillan was a guest star on many popular television shows. Some of these included Three's Company, Charlie's Angels, and Knight Rider.
He also appeared in Hunter, Knots Landing, and Matlock. In 1984, he got a bigger role as Boris Roskov on the ABC show General Hospital. He was also in Diagnosis: Murder.
Later Work in Videos
Later in his career, Will McMillan also acted in videos. He was Captain Twain in Cards of Death (1986). In 1990, he played a bartender in Dark Romances Vol. 1. His role in 1994's Schemes was a mean junkman.
Personal Life
Will McMillan married Laura Bahrs in 1981. They had four children together.
He passed away on December 2, 2015, in Burbank, California. He was 71 years old. He was survived by his wife, Laura, their four children, and his sister.
