William Mellor (born on April 3, 1976) is a well-known English actor and singer. He has played many popular characters on TV. Some of his famous roles include Jambo Bolton in Hollyoaks and Gaz Wilkinson in Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps. He also appeared as Harvey Gaskell in the soap opera Coronation Street. In 2024, he played Lee Castleton in the TV drama Mr Bates vs The Post Office, which was about a real-life event called the British Post Office scandal.

Will Mellor's Acting Journey

Will Mellor started his acting career in 1990. His first big role was Ben Rowlingson in the children's show Children's Ward. In 1995, he joined the cast of the popular soap opera Hollyoaks as James "Jambo" Bolton. He played this character until 1998.

Besides acting, Will also had a singing career. He released a cover song called "When I Need You", which became very popular and reached number 5 in the UK music charts. He also released another song called "No Matter What I Do". Will even appeared in a music video for the band Boyzone.
